Terms of use

1. Agreement

By creating or using an account you agree to these terms. If you are using Mark Your Player on behalf of a club, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for that club.

2. Accounts

Club admins approve who joins their club. Parent accounts must be approved before they can see a child's information. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. Accounts must not be shared outside your household or club role.

3. Club responsibilities

• Obtain parental consent before adding a child's details.
• Keep member records accurate and remove people who have left.
• Only grant coach or admin access to suitably vetted staff.
• Comply with applicable data protection and safeguarding obligations.

4. Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful, abusive or discriminatory content, attempt to access data belonging to other clubs or families, or use the service to harass anyone. Coach notes and reports should be professional and appropriate for a young person and their parents to read.

5. Fees

Club subscriptions are agreed and invoiced separately, outside the app. Access may be suspended if an invoice remains unpaid after a reasonable notice period.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance and updates may occasionally cause short interruptions.

7. Your content

Clubs retain ownership of the data they enter. We use it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

8. Ending your use

A club may stop using Mark Your Player at any time and request an export or deletion of its data. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or put members' safety at risk.

9. Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to club admins. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
